Oh how much I love photographing babies! The most popular newborn sessions are lifestyle photo sessions and more formal portraits in my photo studio in Wake Forest, NC. I love photographing both! The main difference is the location and the style. The lifestyle sessions are more organic where I focus on the family interacting with the newborn in their home environment. The photos I take often include the baby with her/his parents, siblings, and pets. The in-studio portraits are more formal and posed. Both make wonderful keepsakes and the choice between the two depends on each family’s personal preference. Some families choose both sessions to have more memories captured of this special life’s milestone! Being a lifestyle newborn photographer is very rewarding.
In this heartwarming session, I had the pleasure of photographing this darling newborn in their beautifully designed national parks-themed nursery.
Without a doubt, the soft blankets, natural textures, and props added an extra layer of serenity to each photograph. The soft, natural lighting filtering through the nursery’s windows gracefully enhanced the newborn’s features. Also, the crochet hat and teddy bear was the icing on the cake making baby William look like the cutest little bear:)
Basically, lifestyle newborn photos are precious moments frozen in time. After all, babies grow and change so fast, that’s why it is so important to have photos to document it.
Although during this session I captured the loving parents interacting with the newborn as well, per their request, this blog post includes only the baby photos. Clients’ privacy is my top priority and I understand some people do not wish their photos displayed online.
